Missions
"So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'" -
Matthew 6:31

Our Christian Missions Committee is involved in many projects, both home and abroad, spreading love and Christian Fellowship to those in need.
Among the yearly projects which Missions supports are:
One Great Hour of Sharing
Church World Service (Gifts of the Heart)
CROP Walk
UCC "Neighbors in Need" Campaign
UCC Chrismas Fund (Veterans of the Cross)
In addition, we support various local and international charities with our gifts.
Our active Missions Team oversees a Prayer Shawl knitting ministry with
monthly gatherings for the knitters. To date, ACC has given over 100 prayer shawls,
providing warmth and comfort to many friends and family members.
A new project - Hats for Troops - has recently begun. Knit hats are given to each
of the troops leaving Pease AFB enroute overseas. We are pleased to support this project. All knitters (or crocheters) are welcome to our gatherings the second Monday of the month at 1:00. For more information, please call the church office (362-5519).
Missions also sponsors a yearly HARVEST SUPPER to benefit a special project.
This year on October 17th, we served approximately 300 guests.
The proceeds benefited the New Hampshire Food Bank.
Our church members also donate to and volunteer at the Ecumenical Food Pantry, located at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church in Hampstead, NH.
